We’re expecting you!  Nine months of waiting have led up to this day—delivery day. Big Bend Regional Medical Center is honored to share this special day with moms-to-be in the birthing center. Here, we are dedicated to making the birth experience personal, comfortable and safe.

We know that the arrival of a new baby is a defining moment for a family. For this special reason, the maternity staff works hard to partner with mom and her support group to keep everyone comfortable and informed through the whole process.

At Big Bend Regional Medical Center, we support the immediate bonding of mom and baby. We promote immediate “skin-to-skin” immediately following birth and also “rooming in”. Babies stay with their mothers in their rooms as much as possible to promote Mother-Baby bonding.

Suites include:

• A sleeping recliner so mom’s support partner can stay the night
• Natural light through large windows
• Wi-Fi internet access
• Individual temp controls for comfort
